Usually, when to pay day rolls around, your mouth waters at the opportunity to spend that hard earned cash. Thanks to Steam, you won’t have to. Overkill Software is celebrating a new game launch with some deals. Free games can be expected as well as some healthy discounts.
STEAM LAUNCHES PAYDAY 2 AND FRESH DEALS
Payday 2 by Overkill Software has just been launched on Steam and unlike the game’s namesake, you won’t need a payday to play it. The heist-themed franchise will be on sale and from now until the end of the month, gamers can get Payday 2 for free. Additionally, SteamOS is offering up some other deals and free games. Any game that is Payday related will be marked down by a smooth 75 percent. This includes the original Payday, the sequel and DLC.
For those that don’t want to do the math on these deals, that puts Payday at $3.73 and it’s sequel at $5. Payday 2 GOTY Edition is also available and comes will heaps of DLC.
FREE GAMES FOR LOYAL CUSTOMERS
SteamOS recognizes their loyal customer base and they reward them. Those eager fans who jumped the gun to buy Payday 2 will get a free copy of the SteamOS edition. Additionally, if you bought the Alienware Steam Machine, free games will also be given out, but only until March 31 when the deals and free play period cease operations.
SEGA GETS IN ON IT
SEGA has been also been in the giving spirit as they recently announced some sweet deals of their own. In part of its Make War Not Love campaign, SEGA will be giving out three free games through Steam. Streets of Rage 2, Condemned and Binary Domain will be offered up for a limited time. These games can be obtained by simply signing up on SEGA’s website and not directly through steam. If you missed out on these great deal, don’t fret. SEGA will be moving to their next showing of charity by releasing the free games, Gunstar Heroes, Renegade Ops and Viking: Battle for Asgard, next. It’s certainly a good time to be alive if you’re a gamer.
