For all of you who are hyped about the PlayStation VR, you may be even more hyped after you hear this. Sony, the masterminds behind the VR, recently announced that Star Wars Battlefront, also on the PS4, will have a VR compatible version. Although they didn’t reveal too many details about it, Sony did give fans many reasons to be excited.
SONY’S VP OF MARKETING TALKED ABOUT STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT
John Koller, the VP of marketing at Sony, recently had a chance to hype up the VR version of Star Wars Battlefront. As Koller tells it, the entire goal for their team was to make the experience so spectacular that players actually could feel like they are in the world of Star Wars. For those of you who are skeptical about this, Star Wars Battlefront will truly show you what it means to be in the world of virtual reality, Koller states. The most noteworthy thing he said, though, was that this version would be entirely different than the PS4 version. This one statement has fans buzzing, and we all want more clarification from Koller on that one.
KOLLER TALKS ABOUT THE LAUNCH DATE
It is possible that the VR version of Star Wars Battlefront will be a launch title. Koller mentioned how this game is a terrific example of a game that would own the launch period. This gives fans reasons to believe it may be available at launch, but only time is going to tell.
KEEP AN EYE ON SONY
This announcement has given fans more excitement for Sony, outside of their PS4. However, fans are going to have to wait for more details to be released. Until then, though, to satisfy your urges continue to play Star Wars Battlefront on the PS4. Then, use your amazing imaginations to envision what it will be like to play it on the PlayStation VR.
