Take a huge sigh of relief Red Dead Redemption fans because the recently leaked map for the new game, has been confirmed by an independent source. Originally, the map was posted by someone who claimed to have received it from an outside source, but it was taken down. However, indeed, a source close to the development has confirmed the new map for Red Dead Redemption, which is rumored to be on the PS4.
THE NEW RED DEAD REDEMPTION PS4 MAP IS EAST OF THE PREVIOUS ONE
The same independent source that confirmed the map was real, also confirmed that this new map will be located just east of the previous one in Red Dead Redemption. As a matter of fact, if you zoom in on the bottom left corner of the new map, you will see the Great Plains. If you remember correctly, this is home to the Blackwater settlement and in the first Redemption game, it’s in the top right.
CARAVAN CAMPS IN THE NEW RED DEAD REDEMPTION PS4 MAP
Another really cool feature that this new map reveals is caravan camps located in various spots. This suggests that the West will be less occupied, and it makes sense after the independent source confirmed that the new Red Dead Redemption game will take place before the events of the first game. This also makes sense because the first game was centered around the idea of death in the West.
NEW BORDEAUX IS ALSO IN THE NEW RED DEAD REDEMPTION PS4 MAP
The last really intriguing thing to point out about this new map is the inclusion of New Bordeaux. Why is this intriguing, though? Well, when you consider that Mafia 3, distributed by the same company who did so to Red Dead Redemption, is based in New Bordeaux it becomes all the more intriguing. A key thing to look out for is if these two will have a crossover with each other whatsoever.
