Whether you like it or not, VR is here and porn will be a large part of it. Google Cardboard is a fine product on its own. At just $10, it will act as a cheap and effective way to introduce people into the realm of VR. Just look at VHS, pay-per-view, and the internet. All fine products on their own, but adult entertainment certainly boosted their popularity. This is all still very new for everyone, but with the addition of apps, sex toys and other VR additions, the experience on Google Cardboard and similar devices will only get better.

Until the kinks are ironed out, the actual reality will remain in focus.
YOUPORN AND PORNHUB NEED TO ADAPT
While Youporn and Pornhub may be safe for now, it’s essential that they adapt for the upcoming virtual porn explosion. They’ve seen first hand how previous aspects of the industry have collapsed. YouPorn and Pornhub were actually responsible for it. By offering up free pornography, the pay movie business died off. If they want to avoid the same fate Youporn and Pornhub will have to find a way to incorporate virtual reality porn into their service. It’s not a matter of if VR will have an impact, but simply when.
