Apple Music is Stealing Spotify Fans

8 Highly Sophisticated Use of Beacons You Can Ever Think Of Apple Music is Stealing Spotify Fans Clapway

The latest version of the Apple Music app was released for Android today. The once exclusive app has opened it’s doors to Android users, giving them access to all music content. The move could very well steal the coveted fans of Spotify.

APPLE MUSIC STEALING FANS OR IDEAS?

Apple Music has always copied Spotify, this time around it’s the same story but they’ve added a new option to it. The new options give Android users access to music and videos inside of the Apple app. This content was once exclusive to iOS users. Now, Google Play and Spotify fans can sign up for a family plan, meaning six members of a given home can get Apple Music for $14.99 a month compared to $9.99 per month for each user. Now that the highly private club of Apple is being more lenient, perhaps other fans will leave for good.

SPOTIFY FANS BEING TEMPTED BY THE APPLE

Few will argue that Spotify is a top notch program. Just look at the other apps like Apple’s that have basically copied its formula. That being said, Apple is rolling out some tempting features to entice the other fans into a switch. Along with access to content and the addition of a family fan, Apple Music is working with the doctor himself. Dr. Dre that is. The two are reportedly collaborating  on a scripted TV show that will debut on Apple Music. Hopefully, it’s as weird as it sounds.

EXECUTIVES SAY COMPETITION IS GOOD

Good guy Spotify exec. Seth Farbman is not at all phased by the threat Apple poses. According to him, Apple’s growth is a good thing for both his company and the music industry on the whole. With a company like Apple embracing music streaming, it suggests a promising future for both companies and artists alike. If Farbman can keep his company afloat amongst other streaming services around the world, then sure, it’s a win-win situation. If he fails, however, he might just regret making these kinds of remarks.
