Youtube and Pornhub Destroyed Call of Duty; PS4 and Xbox One Fans Are Not Happy Clapway

Xbox and PS4 fans were anxiously awaiting the release of the new Call of Duty, however, that excitement has quickly died down. The trailer for the game has become the most disliked video on YouTube history. Is Pornhub to blame?

PS4 AND XBOX FANS HATE CALL OF DUTY TRAILER

What seems like an innocent advertisement for the upcoming Call of Duty game somehow offended legions of PS4 and Xbox fans. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare leaves it’s traditional military shooter style and now takes place in a futuristic sci-fi environment. Sounds cool, but not to PS4 and Xbox fans. They reacted viciously by rating the YouTube trailer negatively. More that 1.5 million dislikes were racked up in eight days. This made the ad the most disliked YouTube promotional video over. That being said, Just Bieber’s music video Baby still beats it out with 6.1 million dislikes. Call of Duty is partial to blame for this, but the franchise has been in a downward spiral for years now. Don’t blame Pornhub.

DON’T BLAME PORNHUB OR YOUTUBE

Don’t shoot the messenger is a popular saying for a reason. Sites like YouTube and Pornhub may have advertised Call of Duty in a variety of ways, but they have no control over the gameplay. The fact that the game has plenty of videos on Pornhub’s site says something about quality. The game is a shell of its former self. It’s almost become a meme in some unique way. For Pornhub, using the game is a way to gain viewers and it hardly stands on its own as a quality product. Despite it being on of the world’s best-selling game franchise, the end may be near.

PEOPLE HATE CHANGE

Xbox and PS4 gamers are people too. Just like many people, they too are resistant to change. Their magnified reaction to the YouTube ad was an example of this. Everyone wants to live in nostalgia, and when something you loved in the past changes, some people tend to react strongly. PS4 and Xbox fans are longing for the days of old and instead, they get some fresh, new experience that they never asked for.
