Dark Souls 3 Better on PS4; Xbox One Fans Not Happy Dark Souls 3 Drives Fans Nuts Clapway

Dark Souls 3 for Xbox One may not be met with excitement from Xbox fans. Some say Dark Souls 3 for PS4 is better. How could this be? Aren’t all video game consoles created equal? Especially when you are playing a complex game like Dark Souls 3? There have been a few reviews of the game from One gamers. And it has mixed reviews. Sure, the game is the same. It is still one of the toughest, yet coolest games available for PS4 and Xbox One. But what evil awaits those brave Xbox enthusiasts upon entering the Bandai Namco and FormSoftware’s Dark Souls series?

Dark Souls 3 Breakdown

Are you ready to create your Ashen One on Xbox One? Dark Souls 3 is still the action RPG it has gained fans for. One of the toughest games on the market is now available to Microsoft fans. Dark Souls 3 brings Hidetaka Miyazaki’s return. It is the culmination of the series, so Lothric is about to be launched into the apocalypse. But no worries. You have created your Ashen One character. Designed him and picked out an appropriate skin tone and clothing. It is up to you to save Lothric. Sounds intense.

PS4 vs. Xbox One

Dark Souls 3 has unfortunately been molested by Microsoft. It has taken a once graphically sound game and made it fuzzy. This alone may make it better for PS4, leaving Xbox fans unhappy. The PS4 version of the game runs at 1080p resolution. But the One version only runs at 900p with 30 frames per second. This causes foliage flickering, fuzzy mountains, and pixel crawl on weapons. And the woes continue for Xbox fans. The 30 frames per second don’t actually run at that rate consistently. It often drops to 25 and 20, depending on the scene of the game.

Should Microsoft Fans Go Sony?

The change in frames per seconds and the 900p resolution may not be that big of a deal. If you are a hardcore Dark Souls 3 fan, then you may be annoyed and want your money back. But if you are a virgin Ashen One, it might not matter. You might have never noticed until reading this article. Sorry Xbox Dark Souls fans.
