Dennis Rodman’s Profit Off North Korea Creates Uprising

Dennis Rodman Profit Off North Korea Creates Uprising

If you think it’s a little weird for NBA Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman to be having fun with North Korea leader Kim Jong-un, you’re not alone. The fruitful friendship is beginning to frustrate human rights groups. Now, they are protesting to strip Rodman of coveted award in the aftermath of Ameican Otto Warmbier’s death.

DENNIS RODMAN THREATENED BECAUSE OF HIS LOVE FOR NORTH KOREA

A Washington based nonprofit called the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation recently started a petition on change.org. There, the group demands that the NBA strips former star Dennis Rodman of his Hall of Fame status. It all started after American student Otto Warmbier returned home from North Korea in a coma.

Shorty after, Warmbier died of related causes. Now, Kim Jong-un has blood on his hands. Meanwhile, he and Rodman continue to party it up in North Korean luxury.

DENNIS RODMAN CONTINUES TO TRAVEL TO NORTH KOREA

Neither Dennis Rodman nor the NBA responded to the petition and the former certainly doesn’t seem interested in ending his new friendship. Rodman and Kim Jong-un still call each other friends. Rodman even gifted D. Trump’s book upon a recent visit.

The two buddies are also known to party at any of Jong-un’s lavish resorts where they consume only the finest imported goods. All the while, North Korea’s citizens starve to death in the background.

NBA NAME AT RISK OVER DENNIS RODMAN AND NORTH KOREA

If the NBA remains silent on the matter, it doesn’t bode well for their reputation. After all, the Hall of Fame guidelines states that a “candidate may be removed if he or she has damaged the integrity of the game of basketball.” You could argue Rodman did just that. Thousands already do. However, until the NBA actually comes out and publicly condemns Rodman, they are guilty by association.
