In honor of Jeter playing his final season for Major League Baseball, the Yankees will be host to a number of celebrations this month. On Tuesday, September 2, a statement was released announcing that the pinstriped team would wear a patch depicting the five-time World Series champion’s final season logo on all player hats and uniforms starting Sunday, September 7, through the end of the 2014 season.
