THE FIXES FROM FALLOUT 4’S FIRST PATCH

There are a number of fixes that the company has announced this patch will fix. They fixed a few bugs in When Freedom Calls and Confidence Man. The former would have an issue where the quest would not complete. The latter would continuously have the user’s heath regenerate. They also state general memory and stability improvements for the game. Another fix they made was fixing when players would randomly get stuck in terminals. Fallout 4’s first patch will also fix weapons being locked after Reunions is complete. Other general improvements were announced as well by Bethesda.

FALLOUT 4’S FIRST PATCH HAS A LOT

This patch is going to fix several issues. This is where a problem with modern video games arises. Sure, fixing issues in the game is good. However, it seems like now gaming companies rush their games because they know they can just release patches with updates to fix them. Well, a thought is to take more time and make sure that all the problems are fixed. Back in the day, companies were not as advanced and did not have many luxuries when it came to patching games. This made it so they made sure their game was 100 percent ready to go. Unfortunately, games do not work like that anymore.

SO, ARE PATCHES TO VIDEO GAMES GOOD OR BAD?

The good is the fact that companies can fix issues with their games. The bad is the fact that companies do not seem to release video games when they are actually ready. When companies release video games that have few bugs, and then they patch the few mistakes they have it is good. However, releasing a game with a lot of bugs without caring because they can patch them is not good.
