A new game is set to release for the Nintendo 3DS. Nintendo has announced that the sequel to Bravely Default is coming to Europe on the 3DS on February 26th of 2016. This is huge news, as the original game actually won the 3DS Game of the Year award from GameSpot. This recent Bravely news also gave a little insight on what to expect.
BRAVELY NEWS: PLAY BRAVELY DEFAULT FIRST
For those of you who are unaware, the original Bravely Default was a role-playing game. The sequel will also be that type of genre. A member of GameSpot talked about her experience after playing an imported copy of this game. Her name is Alexa Ray Corriea and she states that nobody should play this game without playing the original first. She says for the story to make sense and for the characters to be known, the first game’s story must be followed. Considering this is an RPG, a genre that relies heavily on story, this is no surprise.
BRAVELY SECOND: END LAYER OTHER DETAILS
Correia continues with her experience with the game and says that the combat is pretty much identical. She also states that the Asterisk job class system is virtually the same as Default. A few new things she states are present in the game are new job classes and the My Set feature. The Bishop, Fencer, and Tomahawk are a few of the new job classes she mentions. The My Set feature, she says, allows users to be able to save their job class configurations. This saves them the hassle of re-doing it over and over again.
BRAVELY NEWS PLANNED FOR US RELEASE
It is expected that this game will be released in the Unites States in 2016. There has been no official word yet, but the original game was released in the US. Stay tuned for news from Nintendo on when this game will be released in the US. However, for now, European people know that they will get it in February.
