The new XCOM 2 video game recently got a new trailer. The trailer released is pretty outrageous as it shows a world that may be more far-fetched than Fallout 4. The game has been announced as having a release date in February of 2016 on the PC, Mac, and Linux.
THE XCOM 2 TRAILER IS CRAZY
This new XCOM game is going to be a tactical turn-based genre of video game. The trailer for the game reveals that the user must reclaim the world from crazily insane looking aliens. At one point it showed something that looked like a mutated python with an obnoxiously long tongue. There was also a beast that looked like The Predator. Albeit, he was a little huskier, but his face was identical to him. A bunch of other possessed looking aliens were shown and the world of XCOM 2 looks completely insane.
FALLOUT 4 HAS NOTHING ON XCOM 2 WHEN IT COMES TO INSANITY
For anyone who does not know, Fallout 4 takes place in a post-apocalyptic world. So, with this in mind, this game is not shy from crazy monsters and a demented setting. However, the trailer that was shown for XCOM 2 honestly looks like it could make Fallout 4’s setting look like paradise. Fallout 4 has a setting that is very menacing and hollow. However, the setting in the game looks intimidating and completely horrific. I am going to have nightmares tonight after seeing that trailer!
TE GAMES MAKE US HAPPY WE DO NOT LIVE IN THOSE WORLDS
No matter what, whether you think one setting is more demented and far-fetched than the other is irrelevant, just be thankful it is not reality. It can not even be imagined how horrible this would be if XCOM 2 or Fallout 4’s setting was the setting that we lived in. That gives me shivers to think about!
