It should not be an insult that there are tricks on Google Maps that you probably are not aware of. It covers so much area that it would almost be impossible to know everything. Well, here are seven things that fit this description:
ONE: QLOCK
This tool named Qlock, can be used to check the time anywhere in the world. All the user has to do is hover over the location, and they can see the time.
TWO: AIRPORT PARKING
If you are looking for an airport, Google Maps can find one, but it can also do more. It will also show you how much money it will be, where you will be able to leave your car, and how far from the airport the lot is.
THREE: RED LIGHT CAMERAS
For all people who like to drive with great speed, this tool is for you. All you have to do is select the region you want to go to, and all of the red light cameras will be displayed. At these areas, make sure to watch your speed carefully!
FOUR: CHEAPEST GAS
When it comes to getting gas, people always like to know where the cheapest gas is. Well, Google Maps will display the cheapest gas stations in the selected area.
FIVE: SKI RESORTS
Ski Bonk, a map-based tool, will allow users to see all of the best ski resorts that are located in your area. This can be applied to Google Maps, and will give you all the information you need for a snowy vacation.
SIX: NIGHT VIEW
This next trick is simply for fun, but it is very cool. Google Maps allows users the ability to see a night view, instead of the traditional day view, of an area. You could see what the desert looks like at night!
SEVEN: LOOK AT THE CLOUDS
One of the coolest things to look at when using Google Maps is the clouds over the Earth. With a special tool, this can be done and it is great for entertainment purposes.
