So, the world was just recently introduced to a brand new product by LG.
The company announced an accessory, the Quick Cover case, for its brand new LG G5 smartphone. The only issue is this smartphone does not exist yet, which leads to some interesting observations. Although LG is expected to debut their G5 smartphone later this month, the announcement of an accessory for it just felt out of place. Not only this but the company announced a feature for their G5 smartphone that may end up being more bad than good.
FIRST REASON: THE NEW QUICK COVER CASE
There is no doubt that this brand new Quick Cover case from LG looks incredible. The user will be able to answer their phone calls without actually flipping the case open. Users will also be able to turn the alarm off without opening the case, and that is very convenient. However, there is something illogical about this whole ordeal, and the company even addressed it. The company stated how they took the wraps off of their new version of the case, on a smartphone that doesn’t even exist yet. They did explain their reasoning a little bit when they said they are always ahead of the times.
SECOND REASON: THE LG G5 WILL HAVE AN ALWAYS ON DISPLAY
Even though the G5 smartphone has not been unveiled yet, we do know that it will feature a display that is always on. The new case is sure to fit well with this, given that it will have a transparent design. This feature is both cool and incredibly illogical. If this phone’s display is always on, then how long is it going to last on one charge? Sure, having the display on at all times sounds like a great idea, but it could end up having users constantly charging their LG G5 smartphone.
