The company LG has recently introduced their newest virtual reality device, and it is known as the Rolling Bot. It was announced at the Mobile World Congress on February 21, 2016. While everything was not revealed about this new Rolling Bot, the features we know already prove that it is going to be better than the Samsung Gear VR.
FIRST REASON THE LG VR IS GOING TO BE BETTER THAN THE SAMSUNG GEAR VR
First of all, the Rolling Bot is a volleyball-sized sphere, and it has Wi-Fi and an 8-megapixel camera. However, that is not the first reason it is going to be better than the Samsung Gear VR. Instead, this reason is because you can have a lot of fun with your cat. I know, you probably could care less about this, but this is for cat lovers. With this LG VR device, you can shoot a little red light on the floor and drive your cat insane.
SECOND REASON THE LG VR IS GOING TO BE BETTER THAN THE SAMSUNG GEAR VR
OK, so many of you probably think I am crazy with that last reason. However, this one does build off of it. With it’s built-in speaker and microphone, you can use the Rolling Bot to talk to all of your family members. Not only that but you could then spook your cat into thinking that you are trapped in the sphere!
THIRD REASON THE LG VR IS GOING TO BE BETTER THAN THE SAMSUNG GEAR VR
Now, let’s turn to a reason that everyone can relate to. The Rolling Bot comes with a pair of goggles, and they are much lighter than the one’s for the Samsung Gear VR. They also don’t require a strap for your head, and that adds to the overall comfortability of them. There is no known price for it now, but right now it is looking like it will be a hit.
