Thanks to some snooping around from some folks on a gaming website, the highly anticipated role-playing game from Square Enix may be coming this September 30th.
FOUR SOURCES CONFIRM FINAL FANTASY XV
The news was picked up from Gamespot recently who picked up that news from a report on Gematsu. The latter revealed that they had confirmation from four independent sources that have all but confirmed Final Fantasy XV’s release date. Since Square Enix hasn’t officially announced the news yet, technically, it’s still a rumor. Apparently, they are holding out until March 30th for a special event that is taking place in L.A at Shrine Auditorium.
THIRSTY GAMERS SURVIVE 10 YEAR DROUGHT
It’s essential been a decade-long wait for Final Fantasy XV. To many, it must seem like a mere dream instead of reality. That is understandable considering the rollercoaster that Square Enix has put some of them through. Originally, the games title was supposed to be Final Fantasy Versus XII and was supposed to be released long ago in the early days of the seventh generation systems. Eventually, that plan was scrapped and gamers went into what came to be a ten-year hibernation void of any Final Fantasy announcements.
WHAT GAMERS CAN EXPECT WITH THIS ANNOUNCEMENT
Since the rumors certainly seem to be true, it turns out that gamers can expect much more than just vaporware. XV will still maintain it’s open world environment, driving, real-time combat and an array of enormous monsters and boss battles. Over the past few years, Square Enix has dropped some hints in regards to gameplay. According to them, the game will have a diverse set of teammates, each showcasing a unique set of skills. The environment will contain plenty of interaction, customization, and exploration. Surely, gamers could care less at this point. Until September 30th, they will be basking in the glory of a new addition to their favorite universe. March 30th marks the official announcement. Hopefully, Square Enix does not disappoint.
