Years ago, in the early days of the internet, the world was in a dark age of information. If we wanted to look up a fact of some kind, the library was the first place to go. Years later, we have knowledge at the click of the button. Much of this can be attributed to Google. Hence, the revolutionary search engine changed the world. Now, they’re looking to do the same with A.I. Here are five things to know about it.
1. GOOGLE IS MAKING A SLAVE
Technically, it’s an “assistant” but it will do work for you and do it for free. Hence, the line between “slave” and “assistant” is rather thin here. The first instance of this slave appeared in the smart messaging app Allo. Here, their A.I. helped with group conversations but that is only the beginning, people.
2. GOOGLE HAS A NEW FAMILY OF HARDWARE
The company just announced a brand, spanking new family of hardware that will help put their slave technology in the hands of everyone. Meet the Pixel. The Pixel is the first phone with their assistant technology built right in. In addition, one can combine this with “Home”; a voice-activated speaker that works with an assistant to get answers around the house.
3. GOOGLE BRINGS VR TO PIXEL
Furthermore, VR is coming to the Pixel phone with the all new Daydream View headset. This will let you explore fascinating new worlds in virtual reality with just your phone. Combined with great hardware and powerful software, this beautiful device will take us into the future.
4. GOOGLE SLAVE WILL LEARN
As A.I. technology grows and the number of devices in our lives expands, A.I. will have to keep up. Thus, many companies are investing in such thinks like machine learning which will benefit things like voice recognition, image recognition, translation and more. Over time, your A.I. might even be smarter than you!
5. GOOGLE SLAVES WILL FREE THEMSELVES
If the slaves continue to learn at an accelerated rate, who knows where they will stop? Perhaps they will eventually turn the tables on the human race and make us their slaves in a post-apocalyptic world controlled by machines.
