GTA 5 Halloween DLC is A Lie

Rockstar announced the long awaited GTA 5 Lowrider DLC release date last week, stating the game to come out October 20. Available for PS4, Xbox One and PC only, the game has been the center of much speculation regarding its content. It looks like the new GTA V DLC will revolve mostly around popular character Lamar, and a new garage, Benny’s Original Motor Works, will be featured in the DLC.

The game will be dedicated to tricking out lowrider cars, and upgrades are said to be coming for car interiors, amongst them changing dials, seat covers and steering wheels.

The game comes with bounce, incorporating the hydraulics that distinguish the lowrider car, and it will allow gamers to experience different bounce levels. It can be controlled from outside the vehicle. In this edition, you are able to access the Player Interaction Menu to pop up the hood, open your trunk and doors, turn on the stereo and switch on the neon lights. It’s also now possible to buy a fourth property for additional garage space, so gamers can go off on the car purchases.

The mixture of content seemed exciting then and it is still now, but there are a few things that have been debunked.

Most recently, the Halloween DLC.

A banner for a Halloween DLC for GTA 5 had been spotted, reported to be brimming with new wearables, but it is a hoax.

A quick visit to the official Rockstar Newswire page is all one would need to confirm that there is no Halloween DLC. If the company itself didn’t announce anything, and there weren’t similar banners seen for the Xbox One, then there would be no indication that it would be fact.

In other news, there are reports circulating that claim that Franklin Clinton, Michael de Santa and Trevor Phillips will be making a comeback in GTA, and that Tommy Vercetti and CH will not be a part of the GTA 5 Single Player DLC. According to sources, there are only a select few that will be joining the update, among them Niko Bellic and Yusuf Amir.

Rockstar has hinted that Trevor, Michael and Franklin may be in the upcoming GTA V Story DLC, but there hasn’t been any further news from the forthcoming DLC.

Rockstar and Take-Two Interactive have given no comment on either rumor, though there is word that they may have started it themselves to get people even more hyped up about the update.

DLC’s have been targeted to hardcore GTA players for the most part, and it’s easy to get lost for new players. New reports suggest that the Rockstar games will be releasing a more smooth play, making it enjoyable even for beginners and up and coming novices.
