New footage shows a man in crashing his $1.4 million LaFerrari in Budapest just minutes after leaving the dealership with the Ferrari supercar. The driver, unbothered after the accident, claims that it must have happened because the tires were too cold to get a good grip on the roads.
The owner is believed to be Italian, and hit another four cars parked on the side of the road he was speeding on. Reports say that the accident happened when he lost control of the car while trying to accelerate. The accident happened this past Halloween night, and apparently, the driver didn’t have much to say about it. According to reports, he even lit up a cigar while taking out a cover for the car.
This Ferrari supercar model, of which only 499 were made, surely has no value for this driver. This kind of behavior should be discouraged. The LaFerrari can hit 62mph in under three seconds, and seeing as how it costs over a million dollars, there’s little to be said about just how many figures will come in the repairs bill. One can only hope the driver learned his lesson, even if he only drove the Ferrari supercar for an hour, or perhaps it was a trick of fate.
