Whenever you mention Dubai, you immediately conjure up a vision of sheer luxury set amongst the desert expanse of scorching sand. Visitors have been greeted with opulence in various forms, and perhaps there is no better example of that than the Burj Al Arab Hotel. The hotel, owned by the Jumeirah Group, is highly regarded as one of the world’s most impeccable hospitality properties. One instance lies in guests having the option to arrive at the hotel via private helicopter or in one of their fleet of luxury cars. Now, a major announcement will see this fleet grow even larger in an extravagant way.
The Burj Al Arab will boast four Bespoke Rolls-Royce Phantom II Series automobiles among its available cars for guest pickups and departures. The luxury cars come in white like others in the fleet, and carry the signature logo of the hotel sewn into the leather seating, carved within the polished interior veneer and stamped onto the coach-line. Each Phantom is equipped to contain extra space for luggage storage, especially in the rear doors. There is also a custom refrigerated cooler stocked with refreshments in each car. The cars are set to carry up to three guests. The cars join a fleet that includes both the Mercedes-Benz S400 and the GL450. Hourly rates for the Phantoms are set at $544 dollars, with airport transfer prices ranging from $245 to $353 dollars depending on the season.
This move was made in part as a celebration of the Burj’s 15th anniversary. The hotel’s general manager, Anthony McHale lauded the latest additions by saying, ‘Burj Al Arab offers its guests the pinnacle of luxury, and the Rolls-Royce Phantom is a fitting expression of this promise.’ These four new vehicles swell the hotel’s current Rolls-Royce section of the fleet to ten cars. Rolls-Royce also expressed their happiness with the additions.
Their CEO, Torsten Mueller-Otvos, proclaimed, “We are delighted to grow our longstanding partnership with Burj Al Arab, the world’s most luxurious hotel. Introducing the exquisite Phantom Series II is a great way to commemorate 15 years of success.”
