It has been rumored throughout the technology community that the new iPhone will feature Force Touch technology. This was confirmed by Apple earlier this week to be true.
FORCE TOUCH WILL REPLACE REGULAR HOME BUTTONS
Force Touch is the newest track pad technology available from Apple. It is made to deliver a uniform and responsive click regardless of where you press the surface. Underneath the track pad, force sensors detect how much pressure you are applying and give you new ways to interact with your computer. The new force click will enable new capabilities such as previewing a file, previewing a window without opening a new tab, looking up the definition of a word, and speed up or slow down throughout videos. All of this can be done without lifting a finger and is based on the amount of pressure you add to the track pad.
The new Force Touch also features haptic feedback, which is a tactile vibration from the track pad that adds the sense of touch to whatever is on your screen.
FORCE TOUCH IS CURRENTLY ONLY ON CERTAIN MAC LAPTOPS
Force Touch technology is Apple’s newest upgrade to their line of products. This feature is currently only available on the new MacBook and the thirteen inch MacBook Pro laptops.
NEW TECHNOLOGY IS ALSO ON APPLE WATCH
This touchscreen based technology was first featured on Apple’s Watch. The customers were excited by this feature, and it then migrated to the new MacBook and MacBook Pro. This integration into so many devices shows that this is not going to be just a trail feature, and that Force Touch technology will be around for a while.
FORCE TOUCH WILL BE ON THE NEW iPHONES
The new iPhone 6s will feature Force Touch Technology. This, along with other features that haven’t been released yet, is expected to make Apple’s newest iPhone a major success with the company’s users. The new iPhone 6s should be available this fall at Apple stores and other major retailers.
