GOOGLE buy button WAS ANNOUNCED TODAY
Technology giant Google has definitely realized the potential of online shopping and its huge economic influence. They released information regarding one of their next big online shopping developments. Google has just revealed its newest feature to mobile searching that will be implemented within the next few weeks. This was announced during a New York City event today. This new feature will allow you to order items directly through sponsored results on Google Search for your smartphone via a program called Purchases on Google. When shoppers search for a product on Google on their mobile phone, they will have the opportunity to purchase that item from a third-party retailer without having to leave the Google page. Your payment information is stored through Google and the company you purchase from will host the checkout pages that appear whenever you tap on a product advertisement. These developments are in addition to the mobile Google buy button that was rumored back in May of this year.
THROUGH THE REST OF this and next year, Google WILL INcORPORATE MORE RETAILERS
According to Google, they will partner with less than 20 retailers who will handle the orders and customize the Google purchase pages with their logos and respective branding. Consumers will be able to search for other items within the sections for retailers. Purchases on Google will expand to include more retail partners in the United States through this year and into next year.
GOOGLE NOW AND GOOGLE SEARCH ARE GETTING A SHOPPING UPDATE
Google is also included something called deep linking. Google Search will now be able to send you straight to eBay and other apps whenever you touch a sponsored result from the retailer. Google Search is also getting better about responding to voice questions that are related to shopping. Google Now is also adding new cards. One will display product reviews and the other will help you track the product’s price so you can be notified when there’s a sale or a great deal.
These new Google updates will definitely make online shopping a little easier, and a lot safer, than before.
