Cadillac has officially announced that their new CT6 model is set to be in car dealerships by March and reportedly with production beginning in Detroit on January 6th. How does this new Cadillac shape up and will this new CT6 end up being a success for Cadillac?
THE NEW CADILLAC CT6
Cadillac has already announced several features that will be apart of their new CT6. According to Cadillac, their new model will have more enhanced night vision technology and a Bose audio stereo system. The enhanced night vision technology has not been explained further, but it will most likely provide a better night driving experience. The president of Cadillac, Johan de Nysschen, stated how this new CT6 was an entirely new approach to luxury driving adding new driving dynamics and technology while reducing the bulk of the traditional large sedans. The engine and horsepower has also been commented on by Cadillac. According to Cadillac, the CT6 will dish out 265-horsepower with its 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine. Cadillac has also stated that consumers will be able to choose from a multitude of different engines. The available engines are: 2.0 liter turbo, 3.6 liter V6 with AWD, and twin turbo V6 with AWD. Cadillac has reported that all three engines will have eight-speed automatic transmissions. They have also reported that the CT6 will be available with plug-in hybrid technology with more news reportedly to be announced in the future.

So with all of this being said, is anyone excited about this new car? I personally have never owned or drove a Cadillac in my life, but I have heard that they are prestigious cars that feel like your floating when your driving them. I have however driven a luxury car and there is absolutely nothing like it. With Cadillac reportedly trying to take a new take on luxury, this new Cadillac should be fantastic. Cadillac has stated that this CT6 will be priced at $53,495 and they also said that consumers can already place their orders if they wanted to. This will no doubt make a monthly payment jump off the page, but for people who love purchasing new cars and driving them this new CT6 may be one of the best of the spring. More details should also be reported as the launch date gets closer, but for now people will just have to sit back and wait.
