Meijer and GameStop’s ads have surfaced and the new Super Smash Bros. and Splatoon Wii U bundle is no doubt the main event. Funnily enough, these two companies both are offering this bundle, but they are offering them at different prices.
THE SUPER SMASH BROS. AND SPLATOON WII U BUNDLE
As mentioned earlier the two companies offering this bundle as we speak, Meijer and GameStop, will be selling them on Black Friday at different prices. According to Meijer’s ad that was surfaced, they are offering the Super Smash Bros. and Splatoon Wii U 32 GB bundle for only $249.99 with a $30 gift card to be used with the next purchase. This is easily one of the best deals that has been revealed for Black Friday. The Wii U has no doubt been a disappointment, but the Super Smash Bros. series has had a very decorated and illustrious history over the years so this bundle is for sure worth it. According to GameStop’s ad, they are offering this same bundle for $279.99 and no gift card. Clearly Meijer has the advantage with this bundle as they are offering it for $30 less and offering an additional $30 gift card. Both of these bundles will indeed be available on November 27th, otherwise known as Black Friday.
BEST DEAL SO FAR?
As mentioned previously, this is no doubt one of the best deals for video games that has been leaked for this holiday season, but is it the best? Even though Nintendo has practically admitted that the Wii U is a failure there are still fans of the system out there. Also, as mentioned earlier, Super Smash Bros. is one of the most popular video game series of all-time and Splatoon has gained favorable reviews on many websites across the web. $249.99 for a brand new game console with 2 extremely popular games pre-installed is a deal that you will not see every day. Most brand new game consoles are not offered for less than $300 let alone $249.99 with 2 games. With all of this being said, I think this might be the best deal that I have seen for video games this holiday season. However, Black Friday is still more than two weeks away so companies around the world still have time to top this amazing deal.
