Starting November 20, Apple Watch owners can purchase a charging dock in Apple Stores. The Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Dock is on sale at Apple.com for $79. Just yesterday details about its packaging leaked on the web, and now Apple Watch users can charge their watches either on their side or flatly.

The Apple Watch charging dock, which connects to an A/C power adapter via a USB cable, but users will have to connect with the USB adapter that came with their Apple Watch in order for it to work properly. Hopefully this will expand so that iPhone users may be able to charge their phones via the dock.

iPhone 7 Could Come with A Charging Dock

Perhaps this move is the first step in hinting of new gadgets that will come alongside the iPhone 7, which Apple has been very tight lipped about. Like the Samsung Galaxy S6, which gave customers the option to purchase a charging pad with, Apple could be planning for a charging dock for the iPhone series.

It will likely not be available for models prior to the iPhone 7, but it will make for an interesting addition to Apple’s inventory. The charging dock for the Apple Watch currently costs about the same as a charger for Macbook computers, so it makes for a fair price in terms of Apple merchandise.
