The latest earnings have been revealed, and Apple gave Android some very bad news. Tim Cook, the chief executive of Apple, stated during their latest earnings call a very amazing statistic. Cook mentioned that 30 percent of the users from Android purchased Apple’s iPhones. Basically, 30 percent of their rivals customers switched over to them. That is how to devastate one of your rivals!
ANDROID STARTING TO BOW TO APPLE
This statistic by Cook was actually backed up by the data from the Consumer Intelligence Research Partner. Android’s reality is that this is a trend that has been happening for a while now. The Consumer Intelligence Research Partner‘s data also pointed to 26 percent of the companies users switching to the iPhone 6S during its first month. The CIRP’s data also pointed to 12 percent of iPhone 6 buyers being from the company last year. The current trend is not going in Android’s way, and why is there reason to believe that it will change?
APPLE COULD END UP FINISHING ANDROID
Last year it was reported to be 12 percent of people switched, then it was reported that 30 percent of people switched. How many people will switch next year? If this trend continues, can they survive any more of their users switching to Apple? Eventually, customers are going to see why so many have switched, and if that happens then it could be the end for them.
THE TIME IS NOW ANDROID
If there was ever a time for desperation to kick in it would be right now for Android. They need to stop losing their customers to one of their rivals. It is bad enough that they are leaving them, but they are leaving them for one of the top dogs in the smartphone industry. If they are not careful, Apple will eventually beat them into submission and take all of their customers. This may be exaggerating, but the statistics that were provided by the CIPR give a very good reason to.
