Google Has Officially Killed Nexus 6 Phone

Nexus 6 Phone

Say so long to one of Google’s phones. They have announced that their Nexus 6 Phone can no longer be bought from the Play Store. However, there has been no word yet on them if this phone is going to be permanently discontinued. This phone’s biggest problem is is that it is six inches long. That is very awkward to carry in your pocket.

NEXUS 6 PHONE DAYS ARE DONE

If there was any reason why someone would want to buy this, it can probably be bought on eBay or any website like that. However, Google will not have it available on the Play Store at all. Clearly, Google must not have been satisfied with the reception and sales that this phone had. They also released their Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P which feature the Profile Fi internet service. Prior to this, the Nexus 6 phone was the only phone that had the Fi service. So, without that feature being unique, who really would want to lug around a smartphone that is half a foot anyway?

NEXUS 6 PHONE JUST WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH

Besides the size of this phone, many reviewers across the web have commented on this phone. Many reviewers across the web have said that they think the phone is good, but not good enough. They say that it does little with innovation, other than Fi, to make the phone worthwhile. Google must have paid attention to the naysayers, and also because they released the 5X and 6P, and the need for the Nexus 6 phone is no more.

NEXUS 6 PHONE ANOTHER STEP FOR GOOGLE

As long as Google continues to make better phones and improve, then they should be fine. It is not like them taking down this Nexus 6 phone is going to kill them. As a matter of fact, a lot of people were probably not surprised by this move. This was news that almost was inevitable for Google.
