Google has made many families around the globe happy recently. They have announced that they are launching their new Google Play subscription plan. According to Google, the plan will support up to six accounts and they list the price as $14.99 a month. Six accounts should be more than enough for all members of a family to enjoy this.

GOOGLE PLAY MUSIC HAS A NEW PLAN

Google announced this new plan would be available on December 9th. This means that it is available as we speak. Many countries will be able to sign up for this subscription plan. People in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Australia, and France will have access to this new Google Play Music plan. The company stated that the same features that were a part of the normal Google Music will remain. However, they did mention that family member’s playlists and favorites will not be combined. This will still allow for all members to have their own music.

GOOGLE PLAY MUSIC HAS ONE BIG ADVANTAGE OVER APPLE

Apple has a very similar plan that they offer for families. However, there is one big factor that they do not offer that Google does. This factor is YouTube Red. Google announced that YouTube Red would be a part of the family plan. This feature is a better version of the original YouTube. It is an ad-free version, that can be accessed offline, and that offers exclusive content from YouTube. This alone should put Google’s family plan ahead of Apple’s.

GOOGLE PLAY MUSIC WILL CONTINUE TO EXPAND

The company announced the countries that their new family plan was available in. However, they also say that it will be released to other countries soon. This means if your country does not currently have access to this awesome subscription plan, soon it might. They did not say what specific countries it was coming too soon, but just that more countries would have access to it.
