The Cut the Rope series has been added yet another game. The developer of the series, ZeptoLab, announced that they have released Cut the Rope: Magic for the Android. This logic-based puzzle game has received very good feedback in the past. However, this game, which features Om Nom who needs to be fed candy, can be thought of as a Psychedelic PacMan!
CUT THE ROPE: MAGIC LAUNCHED ON ANDROID
This game will stay very true to the series. However, ZeptoLab did mention that this game will feature Om Nom being able to be turned into a variety of creatures. ZeptoLab mentioned how he can be turned into a mouse, a fish, a bird, or even a dinosaur. Not only that, but each one of these creatures will feature their own exclusive move set. Levels will need to be passed based on the creatures abilities. This game will also feature 100 levels, but there could end up being even more in the future. Lastly, this game is free of charge, but there are micro-transactions for in-game purchases.
WHAT IS CUT THE ROPE: MAGIC?
Cut the Rope: Magic, just like all of the others before it, is a physics-based puzzle game. The game requires users to feed the main character, Om Nom, the given candy to complete the level. The candy hangs from one or several ropes and users must find a way to get it down. Also, stars can be collected throughout each level which will affect your score. How fast you do the level can also have an affect on your overall score. Also, in-game purchases can be made to make the games easier.
THE RECEPTION OF CUT THE ROPE ON ANDROID
This series has been very well received on the Android. Many have commented and said this series has the awesome addictive feature just like Candy Crush. The great puzzles, cute personality, and perfect use of the touch controls were also reasons why Cut the Rope garnered such good reception. As a matter of fact, the first Cut the Rope game actually took home the Best Handheld Game of the year award in 2010. The Game Developers Choice Awards awarded the game that honor. The Android should see yet another version of this series receive critical acclaim.

A psychedelic is defined as a drug that produces hallucinations. Now, why do I say this game is a psychedelic PacMan? Well, first let me say that Om Nom is an eating machine gobbling up anything in his path. Sound familiar to anyone? However, while PacMan is gobbling up PAC-dots and ghosts, Om Nom is being changed into crazy creatures and devouring candy. Come on, you can not tell me that he is not a psychedelic PacMan.

This should be one of the many Cut the Rope games to be seen on the Android and other platforms. ZeptoLab decided to partner with Nazara to publish this game. Now, Nazara has exclusive rights to publish any of the Cut the Rope games. The company then released a statement that said they were going to massively extend the game in India. They stated they will bring a lot more culture into the games puzzle scheme. This could lead to this series getting, even more, innovation and becoming, even more, popular. Cut the Rope: Magic should just be the start for more games in this series.
