Let me guess, all of you who clicked on this article think you know everything about Tesla, right? Well, I am here to inform you that there are some things that you don’t know. This sounds like a bold statement, and it is, but let me explain to you what I am talking about.
FIRST THING
I am not going to insult your intelligence by telling you that Tesla is a big company. However, I am going to throw something your way that you didn’t know. Tesla is approximately 15 percent the size of Facebook, and about 40 percent the size of Ford.
SECOND THING
When people think of Tesla, they probably think that Elon Musk was the mastermind behind it. Well, those people couldn’t be more wrong. The company was actually founded by Marc Tarpenning and Martin Eberhard, and it Elon Musk would later make his way to the company.
THIRD THING
Even though you probably thought there was more, there are only 52 showrooms for Tesla. Of course, this is only in the US and Canada. Yes, I just trolled you and I couldn’t be happier that I did.
FOURTH THING
For a standard Tesla car, there are only six body parts that ever need regular replacement. Four of these are the tires, and the other two are the individual wiper blades. That is what I call efficient, and this efficiency leads to the company’s customers remaining happy.
FIFTH THING
One of the most coveted awards in the automobile industry is the Motortrend Car of the Year Award. I am sure you are aware of this award, but did you know that the Tesla Model S was the first electric vehicle to ever win the award? I am sure you are going to tell me that you did, but you know that you didn’t!
