Fans demanded this once Snoop started his “Plizzanet Earth” videos. They soon went viral and late night host Jimmy Kimmel was all over it. Watching Snoop Dogg share his thoughts on earth and space is nothing short of entertaining and informative (somewhat. 75,000 fans share this opinion, exemplified by signatures on a petition leading to the creation of “Planet Snoop”.

This massive viral interest all started with Snoop Dogg’s “pilot” episode “Squirrel vs. Snake”. As one can imagine, Snoop narrates a battle of a squirrel fighting a snake. Without giving too much away, there’s a “Shyamalan-like” twist at the end that even Snoop Dogg finds surprising. Snoop’s hilarious and observant commentary clearly show why the video has garnered such a positive response. It’s almost as if everything he touches turns to gold.

To further prove the viral influence of the one and only Snoop Doggy Dog, he recently made a small Romanian village world famous after a viral mistake. Recently, the rapper posted a selfie after a gig in Bogota, the capital city of Colombia. He mistakingly labeled the location as Bogata, a Transylvanian village of 2,000 people. Millions of his Instagram fans picked up on the mistake and a good laugh was had. That’s hardly the end, though. Savvy entire pens RUS picked up on the mistake too and quickly created VisitBogata.com for English tourism. Whether Snoop’s unintentional promotion actually helps the small village is yet to be seen. If it does, it will only prove the fact that Snoop may very well be the modern day King Midas.
