YOUTUBE MAKES HISTORY WITH 360 DEGREES
This announcement makes YouTube the first to a launch 360-degree live streaming and spatial audio at this place. Spatial audio is playing sound the ways people hear. For example, if you are watching porn and hear some girl moaning in the distance, that volume will increase if you walk towards her. Depth, distance, and intensity all play a major part in spatial audio and enhancing the VR experience. Google has already begun releasing support for spatial audio for Google Cardboard, however, it’s only available for on-demand videos and not live videos. Enough with the audio talk, though. The real news here is the launch of 360-degree live streaming.

It’s not a question of if VR porn will make its mark, but simply a matter of when. The VR pornography industry is said to reach about over a billion dollars be 2025 putting it right behind video games and NFL content. Starting today, anyone and their mother can do live 360-degree filing on YouTube. The upcoming Coachella Music Festival will be the first test for a high profile, live stream in 360-degrees. If it succeeds, this will open up the doors for a wide range of new storytelling methods. Pornography aside, think about the possibilities 360-degrees video could bring. One could use Skype to interact with an entire room of people. Couples can virtually look around a house in detail and of course, men and women alike can be smack in the middle of their very own pornographic fantasy. The future looks alright.
