With the release of the Galaxy S7, it seemed that Samsung was going to part ways from their Apple inspired design. Not so fast. A new smartphone has risen from the depths and it looks eerily similar to the iPhone 7.
SAMSUNG GALAXY C5 COPYCAT
Samsung Galaxy S7 has been praised for it’s innovative and stylish design. It seems like the company has finally launched out from behind Apple’s shadow. Yet, right when they were about to take off, a new copycat emerges. Introducing the Samsung Galaxy C5. The sleek and sexy smartphone has a striking resemblance to Apple’s iPhone 7 according to leaked images. The copying seems to go far deeper than just looks as well.
APPLE IPHONE 7 GETS ROSE COLORED CLONE
That nifty rose gold color that was once unique to iPhone 7 is no more. The Galaxy C5 will not only sport that, but also come with a 5.2-inch screen and 5.7-inch display as well. The Samsung resemblance to Apple doesn’t stop there, though. Both phones will feature a full HD Super AMOLED display and RAM options of 4GB, 32 GB or 64 GB. Furthermore, 16-megapixel cameras will be included on both devices. If this seems like a rather obvious way to copy the iPhone, that’s because it is. Apparently, it doesn’t matter, though, because the Galaxy C5 will be away from prying eyes in the US and kept to the Asian Markets.
TAKE IT AS A COMPLIMENT CUPERTINO
Samsung will be releasing their C5 clone just in the Asian region for now. It will not be released in the US unless the company really wants to test the competitiveness of Apple. Many think the final days of glory for the Cupertino company are upon us. Perhaps the C5 clone is a way of honoring a legend. Just as we tend to immortalize fallen heroes of old, perhaps the C5 is a tribute to the iPhone and its mark on history. From here on out, a new leader might just arise in the wake of a destroyed Cupertino empire.
