The Islamic State are not the only one’s who can destroy historical monuments. Thanks to the potentially illegal activity of three men on Youtube, a historic rock formation was destroyed in Goblin Valley, Utah. Authorities are investigating and the three will likely face felony charges.
YOUTUBE IDIOCRACY ON FULL DISPLAY
For those worrying that we as a human race were becoming a bit too intelligent, fret no more. Idiocracy is alive and well in society. Just a few minutes on Youtube will show you that. One example of this has gotten the attention of Utah authorities. Three men, Dave Hall, Glenn Taylor and Dylan Taylor were taking a hike through Goblin Valley, Utah the other day when they had an idea. Apparently, the natural beauty of Goblin Valley was not up to their standards to they decided to take matters into their own hands.
WIGGLE IT JUST A LITTLE BIT
Youtube has not immortalized these words into their eternal archive: “wiggle it, just a little bit”. Those were the words these men used to document their “redesign” of Goblin Valley. As one can see from the Youtube video, one man starts to wiggle a rock formation until it separates from its base and comes crashing to the floor. It’s clear that it was a premeditated incident and not a mistake. Upon the act, the three men did not gasp in horror at the destruction of a natural icon but instead, seemed to let their testosterone take over in joyous celebration. If that wasn’t enough, they then went on to justify their actions.
IDIOTS JUSTIFY THEIR ACTIONS
After the mindless minute of celebration concludes, these three men decide they have done a great service to their country. At the end of the Youtube video, the man filming states that this teetering rock could have killed a child someday. By them destroying the formation, they believe they saved a life. Thankfully, Utah state park authorities do not agree. After investigations, it’s likely that these three stooges will be facing felony charges. Perhaps now they will think twice before crossing the cold, hard law of mother nature in the future.
