Banda El Recodo has been a successful, revolving door of Mexican musicians since 1938. They also have ties to Los Zetas drug cartel. Across the border, we have Donald Trump. Trump is a wealthy business mogul who’s now running for president of the U.S. Seeing as he wants to build a wall separating the U.S. from Mexico and stopping the flow of drugs (and immigrants) into the U.S., we might have a new war on our hands.
BANDA EL RECODO BUILDS DONALD TRUMP ARMY
Try to name a band that’s been around since 1938. Keeping that tradition alive for so long is no easy task for Banda El Recodo. It takes dedication from generations of musicians who want to fight for a cause. On the exterior, this cause looks like music but there could be something more at play. The Mexican band has a long history playing for the famous drug cartel, Los Zetas. One doesn’t simply entertain violent drug cartels without getting involved. It’s more likely that this band is more military than music. Now, they want to wage war against Donald Trump.

Donald Trump is famous for his Mexican wall idea. For those that don’t know, Trump claimed he wants to build a wall across the Mexican/American border. Furthermore, he wants Mexico to pay for it. As one can imagine, Mexico isn’t too keen on this idea. If Trump actually wins and attempts to put this plan into action, he will have a conflict on his hands. Banda El Recodo and the cartel armies have a lot at stake here. They rely on a clear border to sell drugs. Take that away, and their empire is at risk. “Banda” is exploding in popularity right now. Their YouTube videos are creeping up into 200 million views. With this kind of support, Trump might be in trouble.
BANDA EL RECODO SHOULD HAVE PREDICTED DONALD TRUMP
In 2011, Mac Miller predicted Trump’s rise to the top. Even years before that the Simpsons said he would actually become president. It’s almost as if Trump is fulfilling a prophecy of sorts. People will act surprised if he wins but they really shouldn’t. Rich, white men have always dominated the White House. How will this be any different? There is no surprise here. Just another average election we should have predicted years ago.
