Before you get all fired up about this article title, take a step back and direct your anger elsewhere. It’s Planned Parenthood we all need to yell at. Well, at least that’s what some people claim. Allegedly, the popular abortion organization is in the fetus harvesting business. Yes, you read that correctly. But is it profitable?
THE NUMBERS BEHIND ABORTION PROFIT
While the whole fetus harvesting thing is just a conspiracy theory at this point, there are still some big facts about Planned Parenthood. For example, we do know that the abortion organization got $100 million in government funding. However, this money only funds services like STI treatment and contraception.
But now back to the conspiracy. Allegedly, Planned Parenthood and patients are making a pretty penny off this whole fetal tissue marketplace. Let’s look at some more numbers.
SELL YOUR ABORTION BABY AND MAKE A PROFIT?
Among these conspiracy theory circles are a few numbers. These numbers suggest that Planned Parenthood makes around $30 to $100 for fetus sold. Furthermore, that’s not even a profit. It’s just a reimbursement. If you think that’s strangely low for a big-time, supposedly evil cooperation as Planned Parenthood, then your not wrong. Also, it’s kind of an insult to the abortion process. Remember though, none of this is factual. At least not yet.
MAYBE THE ABORTION BUSINESS ISN’T THE BEST FOR MAKING MONEY
If you think the Planned Parenthood, fetal tissue sales game is a good idea, then you should look elsewhere. The overall profit for the organization is only $0 if this racket is actually true. So get your mind out of this business.
You’re better off selling fake handbags on the streets of NYC or babysitting your neighbor’s kids down the street. But that doesn’t defeat the fact that women are still flocking to Planned Parenthood in record numbers. They are providing a service that many women want and need. But that’s an argument for another time.
