Qoros, the young Chinese auto maker, is releasing the Qoros 5 hatchback.
The car was previewed at the Milan Expo 2015, and details read that it will come in three models. The 5 is the first model by the maker to come with crossover technology. China, though not widely acclaimed in the car making industry, is making a catch up to the Western world and the rest of Asia.

It’s been revealed that the car will be be 4587 mm long, 1878 mm wide and 1676 mm tall, with an interior design that’s closer geared to European cars and gives the car a classy finish and an affordable price tag. Among the details, it was not specified whether or not the car will come with an all-wheel drive system. The model is expected to get a 154 bhp 1.6-liter turbo engine and a six-speed dual clutch transmission, riding at 19-inch wheels.
The Qoros 3 Makes A Comeback
Qoros is only a few years old, having debuted with the Qoros 3, which received favorable to positive reviews. This car set in motion the company’s plan to bring luxury and affordability together, and not through gimmicks, but through quality in design and in function. The Qoros 3 delivered the promise, making for a locally made car that felt foreign. As the Qoros 5 was revealed, it was also detailed that the Qoros 3 will have a midsize SUV release in three different models. The car was quoted to be the most favorable to drive out of the Chinese automobile industry, and the 5 is sure to follow up.
The Qoros 5 recently and literally crossed over Europe and Asia.
For 26 days, the car ran a total of 15,000km for a special rally, making way from ‘dirt roads in the Russian Far East to the German autobahn, where speed limits do not apply.’
The release looks promising, and the Qoros 5 will be completely unveiled next month at the Guangzhou Auto Show, and once that’s past, the car is set to go on sale locally.
