Xiaomi has just released an astoundingly slim 4K TV that brings amazing quality, and it’s expected to be under $800.
The company just unveiled the release of the 60-inch Ultra HD flatscreen, which runs on a custom version of the Android 5.1 Lollipop. It has a Flagship TV Processor built into the 11.6mm aluminum frame, and it’s geared to bring the awesome 4K resolution to people’s homes.
The TV comes with an MEMC motion designed to reduce blurring in fast-moving, on screen scenes.
The awesome thing about this new development, though, is the Mi TV Bar.
The Mi TV Bar is a detachable video processing unit, built right into the TV’s bar speaker. It drives the Mi TV panel, and since it is removable, it can be used in conjunction with any other display via the MiPort cable. No complicated wiring required!
The new gadget comes with a Cortex-A17 processor and a Mali T760 GPU that delivers the awesome 4K 60fps hardware decoding. The TV bar also brings 3GB or RAM, 8GB of internal storage and Bluetooth wireless connectivity.
The feature does leave the gates open for expandability, which makes the whole world excited for what Xiaomi might bring next.
The Ninebot
The Chinese company also unveiled a new product launch, for their take on the Segway: the Ninebot mini.
The new gadget is a self-balancing scooter version of the traditional Segway, and it can go up to speeds of 16km per hour and climb slopes of 15 degrees easily. It’s compact and weighs 12.8kg, fitting easily in the trunk of a car. The gadget is rechargeable and comes with a high capacity battery that can make the Ninebot mini to run 22km in a single charge. The Ninebot mini can be controlled from your smartphone to check speedometer, choose preferences, monitor traffic, detect any faults in the scooter and get firmware updates.
Xiaomi has once again pushed the boundaries with creativity and technology, making for a competitive series of developments that are changing the way people watch TV, and this new development brings a new venture into self-balancing boards by making them more portable and lighter.
