Instagrammer Erico Hessel spotted the Bugatti Veyron Successor being tested on the roads of Italy. This year, Bugatti unveiled its Vision Gran Turismo and previewed their next hypercar, the Chiron.
This closer look gives fans and buyers a much closer look at the car, since this is the first time it’s been spotted in the flesh. It shares some characteristics with the Gran Turismo, save for its more circular cabin. A likely AWD two seater, there’s no telling what engine the Bugatti Veyron successor carries, but it’s likely a 14000bhp-1500bhp W16 or an upgrade of it. There’s no word on just how fast the Chiron can go, but what is for sure is that it’ll be a sure dent on any wallet; the Chiron is set to start at $2.5 million.
Three prototypes have been spotted in testing, and it’s possible that the car is actually unveiled in late 2015 or early into 2016, and people only hope that it goes beyond the Venom GT’s 280mph speeds to set the Bugatti Veyron successor. Some speculate that if the car is slower, it may not live up to the hype built around it, and one can only hope that it brings what we’ve seen so far, which to be fair isn’t much, but is quite enough to cause a stir.
