Gmail should be considered the best mailing service on the planet. For those of you who believe this statement, and for any others for that matter, you should be aware of the following features. The first feature is Google redirecting you to the Inbox, and the second feature is known as the Smart Reply.
FIRST FEATURE: REDIRECTING TO THE INBOX
This new feature is very self-explanatory. From now on, every time that you go to Gmail it will redirect you to the Inbox. However, the message that the company sent out does indicate that this feature can be turned off. All you have to do to accomplish this is go to your Inbox, then choose Settings, and then uncheck the option for the redirection to the Inbox. The main thing to take away from this is Google is not forcing this on anybody. Instead, they are merely making it an option for anyone who is interested. So, if you have no interest in doing this, then make sure to uncheck the option for it. It is that simple, and nobody should be complaining about it.
SECOND FEATURE: SMART REPLY
The Smart Reply implemented on Gmail is perhaps the most convenient feature ever. Let’s face it, sometimes we just do not feel like replying to somebody. The great thing is that with Smart Reply, Gmail will create automatic responses for you. Basically, whenever you receive an email on Gmail, Smart Reply will read your content and create three responses for it. It is not just for simple emails either because if you receive an email that requires more thought, you can use the responses as a start of your message. Not only this but Smart Reply will actually learn based on your previous responses. For example, if you never choose an option it keeps sending you, it will eventually stop appearing as an option.
