An old theory of Planet X, the distant, possibly alien environment on the far reaches of our solar system, has come back to life. Some believe that it redirected rogue asteroids and comets hurtling into the inner solar system. One of which may have hit Earth causing the extinction of dinosaurs. Are humans at risk for this happening again?
ALIEN PLANET X MAY HAVE KILLED THE DINOSAURS
It seems like something out of a low-budget, alien sci-fi movie, but there is actually some scientific data to back this theory up. Astrophysicist Daniel Whitmire suggests that the mysterious alien planet not only may have killed the dinosaurs but is causing extinction at regular intervals on Earth. These intervals are said to be every 27 million years, so it’s quite plausible humans could see the fate of the dinosaurs someday.
ARE HUMANS AT RISK?
The theory of a comet wiping out the dinosaurs isn’t anything new, however, where this comet came from is. Daniel Whitmire said the original theory was that comets originating from the Kuiper Belt have impacted Earth once every 27 million years for the last 250 million years. Now, using his new methods, Whitmire has updated his finding. Comets have been regularly hitting earth for over 500 million years. Now with the discovery of the alien planet in the Kuiper Belt, Whitmer’s theory is gaining traction. Humans may be safe for now, but give it a few million years.
WHAT’S HIDING IN THE KUIPER BELT?
Scientists from Cal. Tech have solid evidence of Planet X existing in the Kuiper belt. Its large size and odd orbits are being examined, yet it’s presence won’t confirm Whitmire’s research just yet. Planet X would have to have an incredibly distant orbit of 27 million years in order to line up with Whitmire’s research. For now all, the theories we have regarding the extinction of dinosaurs and humans are akin to alien conspiracies. Scientists are getting closer, however. The answer to humans existence and that of the universe are on their way to becoming unlocked.
