There is a brand new strategy video game, and it’s much better for your brain than either GTA 5 or Destiny. The aforementioned video game is named Immune Defense, and its goal is to both teach and entertain you. No matter how good you end up thinking this game is, though, there is no doubt that it will be more beneficial to your brain than either GTA 5 or Destiny would be.
WHAT IS IMMUNE DEFENSE?
In Immune Defense, you will take the role of a microdot around the same size of a white blood cell. Your main objective is to kill the invading pathogens by summoning white blood cells. To summon these said blood cells, you are going to have to expend energy. How do you get this energy, though? Well, with every single pathogen you kill you will gain more energy. Overall, if you are a fan of games like Plants vs. Zombies and Starcraft, then you should be very familiar with the gameplay.
IMMUNE DEFENSE IS GOOD FOR YOUR BRAIN, UNLIKE GTA 5 AND DESTINY
Immune Defense is partially designed to be a good teaching tool for gaming fans, but the same can’t be said for GTA 5 and Destiny. As a matter of fact, a number of years ago there was a study conducted by several colleagues at Indiana University. In their study, the colleagues studied 28 students to see how violent video games would affect their brains. Every day for a week, some of the students played violent video games and some of them played non-violent ones. Dr. Vincent Matthews, one of the colleagues, revealed their team’s findings. Matthews noted how the students who played the violent video games showed an increase in aggressive behavior. Now, GTA 5 and Destiny were actually not even playable video games at the time of this study, but they’re both violent video games in their own right.
IMMUNE DEFENSE IS A BETTER GAME FOR YOUR KID THAN GTA 5 AND DESTINY
Overall, for all of you parents out there, this strategy video game is a much better choice for your kids than GTA 5 or Destiny. Destiny is not an insanely violent video-game, but it’s still violent. GTA 5, on the other hand, is the epitome of a mature video game, and shouldn’t be played by adolescents. Trust me, parents, get your kid hooked on this game.
