British Tornado Jets Take Off from the Royal Air Force to Cyprus

Parliament voted 397-223 in favor of joining the US in air strikes against ISIS. This would mean an expansion from Iraq in efforts to aid the Middle East in their bloody battle against the Islamic State.

The British Tornado jets have already hit oil fields that had been funding ISIS, and they declare that there are many more targets they plan to hit. Britain is planning to send eight more warplanes to join the effort. This was received with mixed opinions by the people. While joining the fight against terrorism is a world power’s responsibility, the Islamic State is a powerful enemy. By sending off these British Tornado jets, the UK hopes to engage the enemy in small scale, widening with time. Previously, Britain had only had involvement in Iraq, but their reach is expanding.

UK Joins US in ‘Operation Inherent Resolve’

After the November 13 Paris Attacks, British Prime Minister David Cameron sees it as the nation’s responsibility to show France solidarity and join the fight against ISIS. Russia, on the other hand, is bombing ISIS to their own accord for bombing a plane full of Russian tourists over the Sinai. All people on board died.

Putin Makes More Bold Statements Against Turkey

After issuing sanctions to the Turkish government, Putin has made additional comments about his strife with Turkey. He believes that it appears as tho Allah has deprived Turkey of wisdom and judgement, and that this is not the end of the line for the conflict.
