Chipotle Outbreak To Lead Mexican Eaters to Taco Bell and Qdoba

A bit of subtle karma was just recently received by Chipotle. It was recently pledged by the CEO of the company, Steven Ells, that their company would become a safety leader within the fast food industry. Well, he will have to eat his words after this one. Health inspectors from Seattle have just recently shut down a restaurant over there. This came after Ells’s pledge and that marks a huge blow for the company. Time to switch to Taco Bell and Qdoba!

The unfortunate aspect for them is this is coming off of already having a widespread outbreak. Health officials around the world reported several hundred sickened by an E. coli and norovirus outbreak from Chipotle. As a matter of fact, a man was interviewed in New York talking about a Chipotle restaurant. The man talks about how there was not a line at the restaurant he goes to. He continues by saying this was odd because in the past he had to wait in the streets at times. Now, it looks like things are getting worse. Chris Arnold, a restaurant spokesman for the company, stated that they closed down the Seattle restaurant due to incorrect temperatures for their food. Rice, meat, and various other ingredients were being kept at unsafe temperatures.

TIME TO MOVE ON TO TACO BELL AND QDOBA

The good news for Mexican enthusiasts who loved eating at Chipotle is they can just switch to either Taco Bell or Qdoba. This is considering that you do not trust this restaurant anymore which is not unreasonable. Fast food chain companies are most likely going to experience hardships, but to this degree is a bit ridiculous. Now, Taco Bell and Qdoba are not perfect, but they might be a bit more safe than Chipotle is right now. However, eating food at restaurants is always a risk anyway since you are relying on someone else to cook your food.

IS CHIPOTLE SAFE ANYMORE?

Well, I think we can say that at this moment Taco Bell and Qdoba are safer than Chipotle. However, can we even consider the fast food chain company safe at all anymore? The CEO did comment and state his apologies for all of their customers. He also said they are doing all that they can to rectify this outbreak. A lot needs to be done by the company for them to be considered safe again.
