Consumer reports put the smartphone through a series of testing that covers all areas of the Galaxy S7 from the most basic to the more technical.
WHAT MAKES THIS SMARTPHONE TICK
Following in the path of Apple’s smartphone, Samsung has decided to make their S7 sexy. Not to say that the S6 wasn’t, but this one certainly shows an upgrade. Only the top of the line is used in the build. Samsung used Gorilla Glass 4 on the Galaxy’s front and rear. This all sits in a beautifully consistent aluminum frame that makes this smartphone nearly unbreakable. The Apple iPhone on the other hand, well, let’s just say iPhone repair is a big business. Looks aren’t everything, though, so Samsung backs themselves up by offering some impressive hardware. Two types of CPUs were used on the S7 devices including a custom heat pipe to prevent any sort of overheating. To support all that processing power, expect to find 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage space. If that isn’t enough for you, there is an option to expand that memory up to 200 GB. One could go on regarding the near perfection of this device, but it’s probably best to get one yourself and experience the magic first hand. Apple’s days are all but numbered unless they can pull off some worthy competition.
