I think at this point in time it is fair to call Tesla one of the most revolutionary car companies of all-time. Over the years, all of their models have changed the way we have looked at vehicles. They have implemented so many innovative features over the years that it is almost hard to keep up with them. So, with that in mind, here are four unbelievable facts that you probably didn’t know.
1. THE TESLA 3 MODEL NEVER TURNS OFF
Tesla mastered the technology of laptops, as their Model 3 will actually go to sleep when your not using it. This is very similar to what a laptop does, and as soon as you put in park it goes to sleep. Over an extended period of time, this will end up saving a lot of battery life.
2. THE TESLA MODEL S HAS A SELF-ADJUSTING SUSPENSION
An amazing feature of the Model S is it actually has a self-adjusting suspension. This model will remember what rough roads you have been on, and it will raise the car accordingly. Once you tell your car to raise, it will remember where you did it.
3. TESLA CARS USE A LAPTOP’S BATTERY
That is right, Tesla cars are practically enormous laptops. They literally use the same battery, the lithium-ion 18650, that your laptop is powered on. Then, all of the batteries in the car are wired into one! They might as well have just glued twenty laptops together.
4. THERE IS AN INSANE MODE
Your Tesla car can literally go from 0 mph to 60 mph in three seconds. All you have to do is enable “insane” mode, and you will make Mustangs look slow! I can’t think of many reasons why you would ever need to get to 60 mph in three seconds, but you can use your imagination.
