For those of you who are huge fans of HP laptops, you need to hear this. On April 5, the company unveiled their newest device: The Spectre. With what is known about this laptop, it can safely be said that it will be on par with the MacBook Air. The HP laptop will boast some very similar features as the aforementioned device. This includes the size, the battery life, and the resolution.
THE SIZE OF THE HP SPECTRE AND MACBOOK AIR
Somehow, HP managed to make a laptop that is slimmer than the MacBook Air. The new Spectre laptop measures in at only 10.4 millimeters thick, while the Apple device measures in at around 17 millimeters thick. Obviously, this makes both of these laptops terrific when traveling.
THE BATTERY LIFE OF THE HP SPECTRE AND MACBOOK AIR
Computer manufacturers understand that one of the most important features of any laptop is the battery life of the device. Well, as many of you know the Apple MacBook Air, depending on if you get the 11-inch or 13-inch, can last up to 9 or 12 hours on a single charge. That is an astonishing amount, but HP made sure to make their Spectre on par. The advertised battery life for the Spectre is indeed nine hours, and that gives you plenty of time on one charge.
THE RESOLUTION OF THE HP SPECTRE AND MACBOOK AIR
In today’s age, it’s a necessity to develop laptops that have stunning resolutions. Well, we can safely say that HP and Apple understand this. The Spectre laptop will have a stunning 1920 x 1080 resolution size on a 13-inch screen. This is actually a little higher than the 13-inch version of the MacBook Air. This version supports a native resolution of 1440 x 900, which is still HD. When the Spectre finally goes up for pre-order, on April 25, it will no doubt be a tremendous competitor with the Apple device.
