Blue Origin to Build Factories in Space; Will NASA, SpaceX Join? NASA Funding Alien Communication Clapway

Pollution and global warming are big topics when discussing the destruction of our planet. Interestingly, while NASA and SpaceX are looking to space for safety, resources, and colonization, Jeff Bezos wants to save Earth for humans to stay on it. Bezos, the founder of Amazon and Blue Origin, is hoping to save Earth from any further damage at the hands of pollution. And he may be on to something. Bezos is hinting at the idea to build space factories in order to save Earth. Will this be the next Blue Origin mission?

Blue Origin Space Factories

NASA and SpaceX continue to explore Mars and the moon for colonization and resources. It seems that they have pretty much written off Earth as a useless planet. However, billionaire entrepreneur Jeff Bezos is suggesting a better, and possibly easier solution. Humans should stay on Earth and build space factories to save Earth from further damage. And Bezos’ Blue Origin may be the best company for the job. Sure, Blue Origin is also looking at Mars and the moon, but their new practical approach to space tech is encouraging. They are building and testing cheap and reusable rockets, and also making their spacecraft New Shepard the safest ever designed. Will this spark interest from NASA and SpaceX?

What Does NASA and SpaceX Think?

Recent developments in the NASA and Blue Origin relationship may suggest that NASA is willing to entertain space factories. NASA has new contracts with Blue Origin. They want the private space company involved in the Flight Opportunities Program. This NASA program puts importance on new innovative space tech and companies. It could be due to Bezos’ idea of a cheaper and greener type of spacecraft. This may make SpaceX not so happy. SpaceX gets nearly half their funding from NASA, and the new kid on the block may create a bit of jealousy. But competition is good for the future of space innovation.

Earth is the Best Planet Ever

Who do you trust more, Bezos or SpaceX founder Elon Musk? Musk seems to be hell bent on getting off of Earth, while Bezos wants to keep us on it. Most people would prefer the green forests and blue oceans to the cold and bland Mars and moon. Bezos has said that Earth is the best planet ever. And instead of leaving our blue planet behind, he thinks that we should focus on preventing any more damage. The use of solar energy in space could fuel the factories that will maybe orbit Earth one day. And most people would prefer to stay, rather than live in an inflatable habitat.
