South Carolina Wasn’t Too Generous With Walmart
A South Carolina woman brought something very different to a Myrtle Beach Walmart. Carolynn Wright has been arrested for biting off a Walmart employee’s finger after getting caught for shoplifting condoms, lubricant, and underwear.
According to the local police, the woman was confronted by loss prevention officers as she was leaving Walmart. This was a follow up to having seen her hide some merchandise. Wright tried to resist the officers, both women. Wright hit one of the women in the head and caused bleeding from the ear, and bit off a portion of the other woman’s finger. An onlooker tried to call 911, only to have Wright take her phone. After some struggle, Write pulled on the onlooker’s hair. This prompted Wright getting punched in the face.
Wright then got on a running minivan and tried to escape, but the police got there in time to make an arrest. Wright has since been charged with assault, larceny, felony and simple assault.
