iPhone 7 is an Improved iPhone 6; will it beat the Samsung Galaxy? Clapway

The release of the iPhone 6 didn’t offer much in terms of upgrades, but this time around Apple is bringing some major improvements to it’s newest generation of smartphones. Across the ring, we have contender Samsung. Their new Galaxy is expected to give Apple a fair fight but will it be enough to claim the top spot?

iPhone 7 IMPROVEMENTS

As far as display goes, Apple is rumored to introduce three major innovations to the iPhone 7. Most notably will be the dropping of it’s famed home button. It will still be there, but not in physical form. This will make way for more room and a top-to-bottom display. Additionally, Apple will include an anti-reflective material as well as the high-end sapphire display that can be found on the Apple Watch. In terms of storage, the iPhone 7 Plus may be offering a massive 256 GB of storage with 3GB of ram. Finally, one of the more anticipated features is the dual-lens camera. Rumors say this upgrade may be limited to the iPhone Plus.

SAMSUNG GALAXY IMPROVEMENTS

Cameras are all the rage with the latest smartphones, and the Samsung Galaxy is no different. The Galaxy Note 6 is said to have a 12-megapixel camera with a 5-axis system known as Super OIS.  Users will be able to shoot high-resolution pictures and video and very low light conditions. Something about that seems creepy. In terms of storage, Samsung Galaxy will have users covered with 64 GB, 128GB and 256 GB of storage options. In addition, the will be a microSD card slot for memory expansion. Just like Apple, Samsung is looking to incorporate some new display features as well. The Galaxy will feature an impressive 4k display with Note 6. This will come with a 5.8 inch AMOLED screen with RGX matrix technology. Of course, all this will support Quad HD resolution. If that wasn’t enough technical jargon to satiate you, Samsung is rumored to be including pressure sensitive display technology on the device.

WHO WILL WIN?

As with many of life’s decision, this one will be a subjective one. Each device can boast wireless charging, waterproof capabilities or even popcorn making features but all in all, the decision is best left to the consumers. That being said, it’s nice to see the iPhone 7 and the Galaxy in some healthy competition.
